Diary of an Outlaw.
This is my first writing in the Official “Diary of an Outlaw” memoirs. It has been a long, difficult but rewarding road I have been on since 2011. I have learned alot, Grown alot and in the end I believe I have come out stronger and prouder. I would like to give a brief explanation to what has transpired and how I have finally decided to proceed from here on out. As many of you know I founded the band 2ugly4porn that became the Feature touring band: “Down In Hollywood”. Some of you may also know that I was given some very cool opportunities with Eternal Productions and Active Mgt. In the end, I have been very blessed to have the opportunity to work with such great people. The Down in Hollywood crew which some of you may be familar with: I.E.: THE HITMAN, KILLER etc. are a great bunch of guys and will always be very special to me. The Hitman (my brother) and Killer both made the decision recently to leave the music business to pursue domestic endeavors. (basically they got married, Had kids and didn’t really wish to keep touring, and working in the music business). It left me without the guys I had been with for a decade. It their choice but with the rigorous touring schedules and demand of the studio, I could totally understand. It was alot on all of us. We also had to sue the ex-record label to retain the rights to our music and that really bogged down the entire unit and process. We were never home and it was tuff. Without The Hitman, Killer, Seven, ETC. It just has not felt like Down In Hollywood any longer. Although I have been focused on my Feature Film, I have felt the need to finally get the music out, yet, still try to figuring out how to combine that with the evolution of Film. I have hit many snags and mainly the problem becomes most mgmt and/or distrubutors that will put out the music want a large chunk of percentage that i refuse to pay. Blood money really……So i have lamented on this for quite some time. After trying to help out the Thrill Kill Monster Cult guys…..I finally came to a decision. Without The Hitman, Killer…etc. I do not feel the band is D.I.H any longer. Like all good things….the band and music has to evolve. I had formally named my Film “Diary of an Outlaw” but I chose to go another direction with that name….I was mulling over things a couple months ago and it just kind of hit me. ”Diary of an Outlaw”. Not flashy, Not bullshitty….just basic and true. So…with that said…..here is the announcement:
The project will now be called: ”DIARY OF AN OUTLAW”.
I have decided to begin putting out a song a month for the next year and a half or more. Songs will include Bloody Rose, Rock n Roll Girls and many others. They will be finally be availalbe for download for a small fee. The money made from Downloads will go to help the Feature film project and crew. It will feature this music and many other indie artists plus mainstream players focusing on helping the success of the film/artists/state of Michigan and also helping take care of the Film crew itself.
This project will stay independent and I am hoping it will receieve the support of those who enjoy it and wish to see the continuation of “Diary”.
Amongst those songs I will film Videos to go with some of the music and hope to entertain those that wish to see both.
The First song and basic Video will be posted this Friday April 5 and for the current time will be only be featured on Reverbnation @
Thank you all for your continued support and thoughts. Now…..Let’s build the Monster!
